This was the first new residence to be built in Indian Rock Estates, a development for larger homes in Saugus, MA. The two story home of approximately 6000 square feet is positioned with nature reserved land as the extension of the rear yard.

The very private property includes a stone terrace and in-ground pool. The original scheme included a tennis court as well. The private rooms of the bedrooms are secluded of the second floor. The first floor includes a central Hall with monumental stair to the second floor and basement. The Hall separates the 18’x32’ full-depth Great Room with a cathedral ceiling from the Kitchen and Library. The Dining Room, which has the capacity to seat 24 or more, links the Great Room to the Kitchen. Garages, Laundry and staff rooms are also located on the first floor.

Our role in this project was as the architectural firm, being responsible for the design, documents and supervision during construction. We also provided full services for land development, structure and mechanical & electrical engineering.
