We were fortunate to meet Mr. Williams when he was living and working in
California. We retained him as a consultant to our firm to assist us in investigating certain construction deficiencies in a large resort hotel, for our client, the resort’s owner. It was immediately apparent to us that Mr. Williams was highly qualified for this work, and from the outset of his engagement, he gave us quick and accurate reports and helpful analysis of the construction.
Our project together extended more than three years, and throughout that time, Mr. Williams was our primary consultant, on a team of consultants. It was easy for us to decide, when he moved back to
Vermont, that we wanted to continue working with him, and our client readily paid for his transportation so that he could continue this work. Over this period, he conducted multiple physical investigations at the property, managed destructive testing by our client and by our adversaries, and produced multiple, large binders of nicely organized material based on his extensive research. Those binders, and the evidence he collected in them, became invaluable to our work and to our client.
I enthusiastically recommend Mr. Williams to others engaged in such work. He is highly talented and experienced in the fields of both architecture and construction, and he has a unique ability to verbalize his observations. These are the finest qualities a forensic expert can bring to his work. Especially because of the convenience of the digital world today, it was easy for us to work with him from across the country, and we will engage Ed Williams at our next opportunity.
With best regards,
Bob Ivey
